Aaron's,Yamaha, Humminbird, Minn Kota, and Ranger Gives to the Troops!
Janet's sponsors went above and beyond in the 2007 tournament seasonto help her raise money for the military. Aaron's donated an undisclosed LARGE amount of money to the Armed Forces Foundation. Out of the donated funds the AFF purchased a deeply, deeply discounted Ranger boat hull.
The 150 hp boat motor was donated by Yamaha Motors. Humminbird donated a 997 Side Imaging Unit for the console and a 787 for the bow with the interlink system. Sweet! Minn Kota donated a 101lb trust Max Pro Trolling Motor.
These are companies that truely "Give Back" to our commumity. Thanks Guys!! You are the BEST!
And remember "if you cannot donate to the troops then support the companies that do!" This way everyone wins.

Janet made headlines once again, when she was featured on the BASS website.
The article highlighted her efforts to boost troop morale and share her love of fishing with soldiers and their families at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, TX.

Hello, and welcome to my website.
My name is Janet Parker, and I live in Little Elm, Texas. You are invited to join me for the 2009 tournament season as I compete for the fourth year of the Women's Bassmaster Tour as a Professional Angler.
Fishing is, and has been, my one constant passion. It offers whatever the participant wants -- from relaxing on a shady shore with a bucket of minnows, making friends and fellowship in a local fishing club, or the adrenalin rush from intense competition, you can find it as an angler. It is yours for the taking!
My love of fishing began at the age of 18 months. After mastering the art of walking, my God Grandparents began taking me, my bag of cloth diapers, and a bucket of minnows with them fishing every afternoon. Several years later, and after my first 8 pound Largemouth Bass, it is official . . . I am addicted for life!
Hopefully, through this website, I can convey my love of fishing; inspire others to experience this wonderful sport, and, with the calendar, allow my mother, sponsors and friends to keep up with me and my busy schedule!
